This book is not a manga, it is a published book from WATTPAD. The book is in "tagalog" my native language, so unless you can read in taglog, then I guess you can read this book.</div>

<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"><b>When I first encountered the book</b>, I was curious as to why it is entitled, Voiceless.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">But after reading the book, I can now finally say, that I agree with the author.</span><br />
<br style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">When we voice out our voice of reason/opinion, whether it is the truth or not, we are often ignored by the people around us, because let's face it, the truth is that, people will only listen to the things they want to hear. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"><b>They would rather be, be deaf to the truth than to face reality.</b></span><br />
<br style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">I like the character of Momo because she has a strong sense of loyalty towards the people she cares about, on the other hand, I kinda disliked Sync's personality for being to hard headed, but hey who can blame the guy, when he fell in love to a girl who only used him? Not his fault I guess....</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">But dang, his too blinded when it comes to love....tsk...</span><br />
<br style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">I kinda like Kevin Sy, his sweet, but I dislike him for having feelings for Momo so suddenly!</span><br />
<br style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">My favorite character would be Mirko... I love his cool and happy go lucky personality! Plus his half Italian! Dreamy!</span><br />
<br style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;" />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">So far its a predictable story....</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">Buy I like the slow progress between the two main character because its not an instant love.</span></div>
<div style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia, Times, 'Times New Roman', serif; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, Times, Times New Roman, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">Will start reading now!</span></span></span></div>

<a href="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1293651959l/9917938.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1293651959l/9917938.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: left;"><i>Saba has spent her whole life in Silverlake, a dried-up wasteland ravaged by constant sandstorms. The Wrecker civilization has long been destroyed, leaving only landfills for Saba and her family to scavenge from. That's fine by her, as long as her beloved twin brother Lugh is around. But when a monster sandstorm arrives, along with four cloaked horsemen, Saba's world is shattered. Lugh is captured, and Saba embarks on an epic quest to get him back.</i></span><br />
<div style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<i>Suddenly thrown into the lawless, ugly reality of the world outside of desolate Silverlake, Saba is lost without Lugh to guide her. So perhaps the most surprising thing of all is what Saba learns about herself: she's a fierce fighter, an unbeatable survivor, and a cunning opponent. And she has the power to take down a corrupt society from the inside. Teamed up with a handsome daredevil named Jack and a gang of girl revolutionaries called the Free Hawks, Saba stages a showdown that will change the course of her own civilization.</i></div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> " Red hot, pumps into me." As Saba, likes to describe her adrenaline </span></span><span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">rush. That, often how I felt, whenever I read Saba's story. A full blown action pack story that will leave you, on the edge of your seat, wanting more! With cage fighting, giant sand worm combats and lots more!</span></span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> Don't know about you all, but you shouldn't be thrown off because of the unique writing style of Ms. Moira Young, because trust me, you'll miss out a lot if you don't give this book a chance!</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>My first thoughts</b>, cool cover, seems like, a book about a girl who is desperately trying to survive on the desert. But, I do admit that I love the new cover more! Wish its the one I bought instead of this cover, but this book cover relates to the story of Saba a lot, her life and struggles at the desert.</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">The characters,</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> first off is </span><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Saba</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, a girl who believes she is nothing without her twin brother Lugh, but as she journeys, to rescue Lugh, she slowly finds herself, not wanting to be defeated, making her a strong survivor and earning the right to be named as "Angel of Death." </span><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Jack</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, a daredevil and a thief, cunning and sneaky, but has the heart to understand things and appreciate them for their worth. He melted the heart of Saba, making her change the outlook she has about herself and to those that surrounds her. He still mysterious but I'm sure we will get to know him on the next book. </span><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Emmi</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, Saba's little sister, the one whom Saba used to detest. Small as she is, she is very observant to her surroundings and just as stubborn as Saba is. The <b>Free Hawks</b>, a gang of girl revolutionaries, leaded by <b>Meav</b>, strong willed and wise. <b>Ash </b>and<b> Epona</b>, this two girls are Free Hawks as well, whom aided Saba on rescuing Lugh. Both strong as fighters.<b> Ike</b>, Jack's friend. A huge man with a golden heart. He took a boy named <b>Tommo</b> and took him as his son.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>What I love</b> about this book is the unique writing! I admit it took time to get used to it, but once you do, you won't even noticed the missing quotations for the speech or the spellings, like "fer" "yer" "nughtin" and so forth.... The unique style of writing added a charm onto it. Because once I'm used to it, I'm starting to read it out load to try Saba's weird accent! And it was so fun! You should try it! xD</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>The pacing</b> is awesome! It will keep you on the edge of your seat anticipating for the next event to happened!</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-top: 18px; padding: 0px; text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="background-color: white; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>The writing</b>, like a said very unique and its a fun read if you try reading the book out load! <i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: left;">Before the accident, Lia Kahn was happy. Before the accident, Lia Kahn was loved. <i><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: left;">But Lia no longer believes in before. Six months after the crash that killed her, six months after being reborn, Lia has finally accepted her new reality. She is a machine, a mech, and she belongs with her own kind. It's a wild and carefree life, without rules and without fear. Because there's nothing to fear when you have nothing left to lose. </span><br style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: left;" /><span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px; text-align: left;">But when a voice from her past cries out for revenge, everything changes and Lia is forced to choose between her old life and her new one. <span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Its hard to be trapped in Lia Kahn's mind but it is harder to be trapped inside a mechanical body.</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">My first thoughts</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> when I saw the old cover, which is the one I own by the way, is that its beautiful. The girl on the cover is beautiful and those lines on her face thus make her look mechanical. The new cover with the new name on it on the other hand is more beautiful! But it thus make you wonder what is the connection of those watery legs to the story? Is that supposed to be machine? Or a deeper meaning that represents the story? What about the title? Why change it? The old title, Skinned, represents the opposite of what Lia had thought of those people who were downloaded unto a machine, they called them Skinners, machines who are posing as humans. But as Lia experienced the downloading process, she knew that she was "skinned" out, from her old body. I do agree thou that the title Skinned, makes the book sounds like a horror story. The knew title Frozen has a deeper meaning, but it is easy to understand on why the title has been chosen for this book. Simple, being downloaded unto a machine and to never age and die, makes you "frozen".</span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><b style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">The characters</b><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, </span><u style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Lia Kahn</u><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, a very strong heroine, who was thought well by her father. She is well aware about the changes around her since the accident. She accepted those changes, from her sister, to her friends, to her boyfriend and to the new life that awaits for her. </span><u style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Auden</u><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, Lia's only "org" friend and her hero. A very sweet boy, who cherishes his mother's memory. He is the only reason why Lia is still connected to her humanity. </span><u style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Jude</u><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">, the leader of skinners/ machines / mech-heads. Afraid of the past, and afraid to get close to people. <u>Zo - Zo</u>, Lia's little sister. She changed herself after her sister's death, she treats the current Lia, as an outsider. </span></span></div>

<span style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>What I love</b> about this book is the moral values with in its pages. Who are we to say, that things that surrounds us doesn't have a soul? What does it mean to be human? This book made me question a lot of things. </span></span></div>

Very gothic like and at first glance, you won't noticed that its an angel story. Does the cover connects to the story? Yes, the cover does indeed portray the story very well. Its obvious that the girl in the cover is the heroine herself, Meridian Sozu. The skulls and roses have great meanings, skulls, portrays death and the roses, means beautiful? Well in my interpretation it is. Since a Fenestra (half-human, half-angel) means becoming the window or way for the dead to pass through the heavens peacefully. </span></span><br />

She is a person who is willing to learn if she found the right motivations. What I do hate about her though is that she ask questions a lot! I know she is confused, but with all the questions she has been asking, I for one became so confused myself! So now I feel like I don't get the whole Fenestra things. <a href="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1217126935l/2238575.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1217126935l/2238575.jpg" width="228" /></a></div>
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i>Kara Martinez has been trying to be "normal" ever since the accident that took her father's life when she was eleven years old. She's buried the caliente side of her Mexican heritage with her father and tried to be the girl her rigid mother wants her to be -- compliant and dressed in pink, and certainly not acting out like her older brother Jason. Not even Danielle, her best friend at Valdez High, has seen the real Kara; only those who read her anonymous blog know the deepest secrets of the Sign Seer.</i></span><br />
<div style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.4; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<i>Because Kara has a gift -- one that often feels like a curse. She sees signs, visions that are clues to a person's fate, if she can put together the pieces of the puzzle in time. So far, she's been able to solve the clues and avert disaster for those she's been warned about -- until she sees the flash of a gun on a fellow classmate, and the stakes are raised higher than ever before. Kara does her best to follow the signs, but it's her heart that wanders into new territory when she falls for a mysterious guy from the wrong side of town, taking her closer to answers she may not be able to handle. Will her forbidden romance help her solve the deadly puzzle before it's too late...or lead her even further into danger?</i></div>
<div style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.4; margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<b>My first thoughts</b> when I saw the cover is that its about paranormal stuff sorrounding her new found power after the traumatic incident that took her father's life. I was wrong. I guess I completely ignored the signs, clues and puzzle parts indicated in the synopsis, because this book has less paranormal more in mystery and solving the clues. </div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Kara has the ability to see the fate of a person only that they are in a form of signs, which are clues in solving the mysteries that surrounds that person's upcoming fate, which usually leads to a tragic accident. If she tries to ignore the signs that is thrown in at her, she gets a punishment in the form of a "</span></span><i style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">headache</i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">", which in return gives me a headache. I was like screaming at her, "just go find more clues so we can relieve ourselves from this damn headaches!" Seriously she is slow when it comes to solving this clues. But over all as a character I like her. For starters she is smart and has solved the Rubik's cube for at least</span></span><i style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> 59 times</i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">! Which I probably wouldn't be able to solve. Is she brave? Eh, she was okay...but she is the kind of girl who will throw herself, just to save someone out of danger which is really foolish of her.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">Now for the other </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">characters</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> like Anthony, the guy that she falls for. Is a great guy, </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i>but</i></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"> not the best guy in my book. Likes she describes him as a hot Latino who has a scar on his mouth. I like his character more than the heroine because he </span></span><i style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">hesitates, </i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">he is not the kind, perfect guy, that will do anything for the girl, because he actually thinks through before committing himself in a relationship. Now for the best friend named Daniella, she is my favorite character! She is really mysterious from the start, I though she is one of those characters who was only put in a story just to make the heroine look good, but she is not. Sadly her character shines through only at the half of the book. Jason, Kara's older brother, is a bit plain from the start but he changed at the ending which is a waste, but at least he made it through? </span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>What I didn't like</b> about the story is the instant love. The author tried to make it slow, but she made Kara looked like a heroine who easily falls for, just because of the instant connection that she felt. </span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>What I did love</b> about this book is the mystery itself, it was slow yes, but it was fun solving along with Kara. The story also connects to everyday problems like family, secrets, and love. </span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;">I recommended this book for those who love mystery books. Its actually my first mystery book, so its hard for me to compare it with others.</span></span></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 18px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 18px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><b>3.5/5 stars.</b></span></span></div>

<a href="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Bqjk-DdkL._SL500_AA300_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Bqjk-DdkL._SL500_AA300_.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i>Detailed description of the life and times of Christ as given through Maria Valtorta.</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Maria Valtorta is a bed ridden woman who claimed one day that she could hear voices, voices that would urge her to write them down on a piece of notebook. Later she realized that these voices came from God himself. Everyday she would write them down, often she claims that she herself doesn't understand what she has written. She herself proclaimed that she has not used any human sources. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A lot of controversy surrounded around this book, for instant people would claim that she is just a sick woman who is hallucinating. But still there are still unexplained things surrounding her work on how can she be so knowledgeable when it comes to the topographic, geological and mineralogical aspect of the Holy Land is unexplainable. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Maria Valtorta's writing takes you in the world of Jesus, which such detailed and visual when it comes to the surrounding and the people involved. Unlike the Bible, that only explain the events that are happening, Maria's book will tell you far more detailed things about Jesus's life. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This book answered a lot of my questions which for some reason is very hard to find inside the Bible. For example, on why did the God put the Tree of Knowledge inside Eden in the first place? Or how come Jesus is said to be the first son and Mary the first woman, when he created Adam and Eve first.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also learned a lot about Mary's life, on how old she was when she got engage to Joseph who is in his thirties, while Mary is only fifteen, or how she struggled on hiding the truth about her annunciation from the Angel Gabriel, from her spouse Joseph. </div>

If your interested in reading the Bible but could not finish even a page of it because of the lack of details, and was just a really confuse read for you, then I suggest picking up this book! Once you picked it up I'm sure it will change your religious life forever! You will simply know your God and Jesus in this book, and on how much they care for you. </div>

This is my first "in my mailbox" post. So exciting! Actually I just usually buy books at the bookstores, I rarely buy books on the net, so this is my first book buy from multiply! I also bought them because they are pretty cheap, they are secondhand books, both have crease front cover, bah, but who cares as long as I can read them, besides creases adds personality to the book! Bought them for $1 each.<br />

<br />
So first the Bad news then the Good (old) news.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1276399704l/6660491.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1276399704l/6660491.jpg" /></a>My Book Frustration, is about this book, which I just bought yesterday. Baught it because they have 30%off, and besides its rare to find a recent YA novel for sale, so I bought it for a total of $2.<br />
I was really excited to read it, so when I got back home, I read it! After 20 pages, I was like, "Why can't I understand a thing? O.O" I look it up on Goodreads and found out that this is the <i>5th installment</i> of Maximum Ride novel! OTL<br />
I thought I hit a jackpot on this one. I mean come on! The 5th installment was "MAX Maximum Ride" novel, so I thought it was the first in the series, truns out I was wrong. Now I'm obligated to hunt down the first four books before I could read this one. -sigh-<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now for my Doll Pride!<br />
I bought this exclusive doll just this month, for a fair price! Which is really fantastic since this doll cost $100+ on ebay. Yes I know its an old story, but I just wanna counter act this frustartions of mine with a positive thinking! =D<br />
This doll I'm talking about is non other than my first exclusive doll ever, and probably the most expensive doll I have, San Deigo Comic Con Ghoulia Dead Fast!<br />

In my heart I knew I still needed more! xP<br /><br />For me this book is about fighting your inner demons and finding the strength to forgive yourself.<br /><br />In this book, I didn't see much changes in Clary's growth, yes she is training to be a shadowhunter now but she still weak as a mundane here, brave but weak. What I do love about her in this book is that her faith in Jace is as strong as ever.<br /><br />Jace here in the CoFA, is much more vulnerable since he has been revive from the dead by the Angel Raziel, expose from all evil like a newly born baby. I can totally see that Jace can be as fragile as a vase whenever it comes to Clary.<br /><br />Simon on the other hand has finally became mature in my eyes. In this book you can feel the struggle he has in exposing the truth when it comes to his secret life as a vampire. Simon also struggled here with the fact that no matter how many times he tries to act human, the more </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 1px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 1px;">he</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="-webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 1px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 1px; font-style: normal;"> finds himself struggle, with the vampire side of him.<br /><br />I love how I couldn't guess who the villain was! It was really unexpected.<br />I also love the climax! I wasn't expecting the person who was once weak can now deafeat someone strong.<br />I did however expected the ending, in order for the book to progress to the next book.</span></i></span><br />

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i>Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.</i></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i> </i></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i><br /></i></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i><br /></i></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #181818; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 19px;"><i>Wanderer probes Melanie's thoughts, hoping to discover the whereabouts of the remaining human resistance. This book is also my first adult novel!</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;"> Out of all the books I've read this book is the only book I've read over and over again. Whenever I reread it, I feel like I should read the entire novel not just to skim it but to read it like it was my first time, and I always ended up reading the entire novel, of course! </span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">Humans are strong species, we have vast emotions that are proven to be far too much to handle by this alien called "Souls". </span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">Souls are aliens that has invaded are planet, souls are creatures of this story whom I cannot hate, due to there kind nature and less hostile attitude. </span><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">Humans did not forsee the inavation since they took over without using any violence. They had planted there selves within the human brain to take over not only the body but also planet earth. </span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">Wanda or Wanderer is one of the souls, she has been implanted within the head of Melanie Stryder one of the remaining human resistance. At first Melanie and Wanda couldn't agree with each other, but as time passes by they end up caring for each other, and understanding there differences. </span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">Despite the Souls being the "invader" they are actually not the villains of this book, mostly because almost half the of the book is about the human resistances who are trying to survive on the destert. Now because our heroine is Wanda, the soul inside Melanie, the villains in the book tends to be the humans inside the mountain. They are constantly trying to kill Wanda, but despite that I also feel sympathetic to the humans who are going through this. Some at first are hate-able, but towards the end you will sure to like some of them. </span><br /><br />The love triangle between Wanda, Jared and Melanie is very emotional! </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">As ,Miss Stephenie describes the emotions between Wanda and Melanie, you will feel like the body that they are sharing is almost being torn apart with this two emotions mixing together! If being heartbroken hurts, it will hurt more if you have two beings inside you, its twice the heartbreak. </span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;">The different planets that Wanda used to live in, are very magical and fantasy like! <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-owrtlksbIvQ/TxYz9RivQgI/AAAAAAAAADs/NaIeLa-a5oQ/s1600/IMG_2507.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-owrtlksbIvQ/TxYz9RivQgI/AAAAAAAAADs/NaIeLa-a5oQ/s320/IMG_2507.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Monster High dolls are posable just like Barbie. My Cleo is also shorter than Barbie, probably same hight as Skipper doll (little sister of Barbie), sadly I don't have any skiiper doll to compare.>x<;;<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sF-BRKNeKf4/TxYxAUR1tKI/AAAAAAAAACk/0vAhRc6uf7A/s1600/IMG0336A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-sF-BRKNeKf4/TxYxAUR1tKI/AAAAAAAAACk/0vAhRc6uf7A/s320/IMG0336A.jpg" width="256" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Anyways, Monster High dolls has removable arms and hands, so its easy taking off or putting on the clothes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m32fbZ6OKsY/TxYxIUGYKgI/AAAAAAAAACs/_DIbrGrbQP4/s1600/IMG0340A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-m32fbZ6OKsY/TxYxIUGYKgI/AAAAAAAAACs/_DIbrGrbQP4/s320/IMG0340A.jpg" width="320" /></a><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hk0OPZATIOU/TxYxjx3YbiI/AAAAAAAAADE/nB-TeImJh00/s1600/IMG0342A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hk0OPZATIOU/TxYxjx3YbiI/AAAAAAAAADE/nB-TeImJh00/s320/IMG0342A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
There are also different hand molds that is available for the Monster High doll, down side is you have to buy a whole doll just so you can get a differenst set of hand mold. My Gloom Beach Cleo has diiferent hand mold than the First wave Basic Cleo.Actually all the Gloom Beach Dolls have different hand molds than the Basic ones.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FiJ5i-G8dOg/TxYxXaNQ6DI/AAAAAAAAAC8/Wm7yYwCv8vM/s1600/IMG0346A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FiJ5i-G8dOg/TxYxXaNQ6DI/AAAAAAAAAC8/Wm7yYwCv8vM/s320/IMG0346A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NpdhAFsW29E/TxYxS0WPPeI/AAAAAAAAAC0/ztjkc4nDpig/s1600/IMG0344A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NpdhAFsW29E/TxYxS0WPPeI/AAAAAAAAAC0/ztjkc4nDpig/s320/IMG0344A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I've used Basic Frankie Stein to compare with Gloom Beach Cleo<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Now lets go to the hair of my doll, my Cleo's hair is made from saran, so its smooth and soft, her hair also includes golden tinsels everywhere, her bangs, her ponytail, to give her that egypitian look, she is after all the Daughter of the Mummy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I for one, is one of those who likes her tinsel hair,because I noticed that a lot of people tend to compalain, that the tinsels makes her look ugly, but I beg to differ!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZvvdNpQJSIk/TxY1nQtnNGI/AAAAAAAAAD0/TdATSR9sxSg/s1600/IMG_2504.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ZvvdNpQJSIk/TxY1nQtnNGI/AAAAAAAAAD0/TdATSR9sxSg/s320/IMG_2504.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
I love the yellow, black and teal color going on, on her outfit, the yellow bandage like swimsuit, the teal wraps on her waist, her yellow pyramid shaped earings, her lovely and well detailed hand fan, her mummy wraps(plastic) on her left arm and right feet, which I might add are too loose. >.<;; And her gorgeus teal birck sandals. Also her cool teal shades.! She has black stand and a black hairbrush that came with her.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5QQKgJUDDcI/TxYx0ipGcrI/AAAAAAAAADU/uqySOiEnJuE/s1600/IMG0338A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5QQKgJUDDcI/TxYx0ipGcrI/AAAAAAAAADU/uqySOiEnJuE/s320/IMG0338A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Also let us not forget her postal card for Ghoulia, and at the back is her photo, looking clawsome!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KBuWVxeSqIU/TxYxv7lqCQI/AAAAAAAAADM/EAerO37Brds/s1600/IMG0339A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KBuWVxeSqIU/TxYxv7lqCQI/AAAAAAAAADM/EAerO37Brds/s320/IMG0339A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I've also heard alot of compalins about her "Skimmpy" swimsuit, yes its a little revealing but come on, its a bathing suit! And you have to remember her theme is egytian, so no wonder her swimsuit is made from bandages. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dTVegYjy7UY/TxYyjgKsqPI/AAAAAAAAADk/Xp-o-db6FmU/s1600/IMG_2509.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-dTVegYjy7UY/TxYyjgKsqPI/AAAAAAAAADk/Xp-o-db6FmU/s320/IMG_2509.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
I highly recommend this doll, not just Gloom Beach Cleo, but the entire Monster High Dolls! This dolls are very well detailed and possable, its fun to photograph them. This dolls are also often use to customize and create new dolls, so if you like you can create your very own monster!blanshirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01385829692389203050noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6139154384196819079.post-29469764033218105782012-01-16T18:49:00.000-08:002012-01-16T23:25:52.933-08:00Doll ObsessionI love dolls! Yes, I said it! I loooveee dolls!<br />
I'm not shy to admit it! I mean, I'm 21 but I still obsess with dolls.<br />
Right now my recent obsession is the famous Monster High dolls.<br />
Have you heard about it?<br />
Well if not, don't worry your not alone. Most people here in the Philippines haven't have the slightest idea what Monster High dolls is, but ironic enough, they are like the new Barbie in other countries like U.S., Canada, etc....<br />
<br />
Here it is, I present you the Monster High Dolls!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/nGawAhRjtoA?feature=player_embedded' frameborder='0'></iframe><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Cool aren't they?<br />
Anyways this Monster High Dolls are made non other than Mattle, the creators of Barbie!<br />
I too can't believe that Mattle has created such clawsome and fangtastic dolls!<br />
<br />
As I grow up I find other old dolls lines, like Barbie, Bratz, etc.... rather boring (snore!) and too girly for my taste, but when I saw Monster High dolls, I found them rather interesting and creative, I just literally fell in love with them! I mean come on! They are the o<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">ffspring of famous monsters!</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">Right now I have four Monster High dolls! Yes, what a very small collection, but you can't blame me, Mattle has yet to sell these dolls here in the Philippines, they are only available in ebay and some hobby shops. T_T</span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span></span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;">My first Monster High doll is a Gloom Beach Cleo De Nile, a gift I receive from my aunt in Canada! I'm soo happy when I got her! I've been wanting a Monster High doll for a year now, so when I received her last year of December, I was squealing in happiness like a little girl! xD</span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;"><br /></span></span><br />
<br />
Her picture while she is still in the box.<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I took this picture the next day I got her. I love her fan! So elegant! I'll review Gloom Beach Cleo later on or tomorrow.<br />

Now I'm sure you are all wondering why did I named my blog BooBird? Well I named it after my little friend here whose name is Boo-boo! He is a Parakeet or some might call a Budgie, he is now 2years old and still very healthy, I might add!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jbbd5Id12Dc/TxTOyl5DcDI/AAAAAAAAAAY/2mZfBF8pAUY/s1600/IMG0333A.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jbbd5Id12Dc/TxTOyl5DcDI/AAAAAAAAAAY/2mZfBF8pAUY/s320/IMG0333A.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Although his tamed, he can be very arrogant and be over protective to himself. xD</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
My little sister and I would sometimes address him as a prince due to his arrogant nature, but still, we love him anyway! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
Now back to my blog! I will be mostly blogging about my hobbies, like reading (book review!), doll photography (which by the way I suck at, and hopefully I'll improve in time), drawing (I suck at this as well Dx) and maybe some random things about my pets and little about my boring life.<br />
<br />
Also, you all can call me Jam, my nickname in real life. I'm 21yr old and I'm from the Philippines!<br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #e06666;">I'm a book lover, animal loving, k-pop and anime fanatic, doll obsessing, ice cream eater kinda gal.</span></span><br />
